More exp erienced women can apply to participate in the project as a mentor.

This mentorship program aims to fulfill the following goals of prospective users:
Mentors:
Undertake training of mentors to enhance entrepreneurial competencies that consist of
attitude, skills, and knowledge in the fields of creative, social, and cultural entrepreneurship.
Get recognition as a mentor for migrant women’s entrepreneurship.
Become part of national and international networks of NGOs, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs,
and prospective entrepreneurs.

Mentees
Gain entrepreneurial competencies on how to become self-employed or open one’s business
in the fields of social, cultural, and creative entrepreneurship.
Identify one’s goals, business interests, and passions, and becoming part of national and
international networks of mentors, NGOs, mentees, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and
potential entrepreneurs.
Gain specific knowledge in certain fields in social, cultural, or creative entrepreneurship.

Facilitators
Gain new educational resources to be implemented in their daily work for mentorship and
entrepreneurship.
Gain new competencies through learning-by-doing about mentorship for migrant women’s
entrepreneurship.
Become part of national and international networks of entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs,
intrapreneurs, mentors, mentees, facilitators, and cultural mediators.

The reach-out is the first initial stage of this program. The process takes place through three
parallel calls for each group of prospective users. It identifies the outlined goals of the program.
The emphasis is on enhancing migrant women’s entrepreneurship in the EU hosting societies and
their labor markets while providing a training course for potential mentors and good on-hand
practices for potential facilitators and cultural mediators. The beneficiaries of this mentorship
program will gain the following opportunities and have to fulfill the following obligations:

Mentors
Undertake 30 hours of the training course of mentors and gain recognition as a mentor.
Implement a practical implementation of mentorship for 20 hours distributed on the timeline
of two months, with an opportunity for potential extension upon mutual agreement with the
mentees. Participating in two networking sessions online or offline with other mentors, mentees,
entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, facilitators, or cultural mediators.
Participate in one public event for dissemination and networking.
Mentees:
Undertake a preparation session based on the gap analysis method to identify one’s current
situation and further needs to become an entrepreneur or self-employed in creative, cultural,
and social industries. Fulfill 20 hours of engagement as a mentee in the mentorship program that lasts for two months with the possibility of extension based on a mutual agreement with the prospective
mentor.
Participating in two networking sessions online or offline with other mentors, mentees,
entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, facilitators, or cultural mediators.
Participate in one public event for dissemination and networking. This public event can also
showcase the progress made by mentees, and even in some cases, serve as a platform to
demo their new businesses to potential partners/funders.
Facilitators
Organizing and facilitating the process of matching between mentors and mentees.
Conducting preparational sessions with the potential mentees, using the gap analysis methods
to support the identification of their current situation and future needs and goals.
Organizing and facilitating two networking sessions online or offline that aim to expand
horizontal exchanging of competencies and opportunities between stakeholders. Organizing
and facilitating one public event for dissemination and networking.
Gather and document information to be included in the guidelines addressed to migrant
women on how to become self-employed or an entrepreneur in the fields of cultural, creative,
and social entrepreneurship.

Three separated calls are handled parallelly for each group of potential users. The potential
beneficiaries of this mentorship program are requested to submit one of the following formats of
application:

1. Written application: short CV and a motivation letter. The short CV shall not exceed two pages.
The motivation letter shall specify the applicant’s fulfillment of the criteria mentioned for each
profile of prospective users.

2. Video application: a short film that shall not exceed 4 minutes. The applicant shall describe
their professional or personal backgrounds, their motivation to participate in this program, and how
they will contribute to its activities.

3. Application in the format of visual arts: applicants may submit any form of visual arts that
expresses their experience and motivation to take part in this mentorship program. Those who
choose to submit their application in the visual art format may submit any form of visual art that
best expresses their experience and motivation for participating in the program.
