PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Based on this open call application, 4 participants will be selected to present Luxembourg in the project corresponding to the criteria listed below:

-Be aged above 18.
-Having an active social role or interest in NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and debate will be taken into account.
-Having some background/interest as a volunteer, Youth Worker, NGO decision-maker.
-Commitment to develop projects related to the topic in their countries.
-First-time participation in the international project will be also very welcome.
-Able to communicate in English fluently, but an exception can be made if a person has valuable practical knowledge.
-Bring energy, respect and enthusiasm, commitment to participate in all the activities.
-At least one laptop will be needed for each country group.

The actual travel cost for each participant will be covered by a maximum of 275 Euro (only the travel tickets that will be approved prior to purchase by the Maltese organizer can be reimbursed).

The accommodation will be organised in Marsaxlokk Youth Activity Centre which is situated in Marsaxlokk
Primarty School, in the rooms of 2 or 3 persons. The bright, spacious mixed rooms have free Wi-Fi, bunk beds, shared bathrooms and, in some cases, balconies.

All meals will be served in the hotel including breakfast-lunch-dinner. Vegan and Vegetarian foods will be cooked and served at the Marsaxlokk Youth Activity Center (prior ).

Disclaimer: program participants are obligated to facilitate the widespread distribution of the project. This dissemination effort may be conducted through various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, to share the project outcomes and their personal experiences throughout the program’s duration. The dissemination posts are required to be publicly accessible for a period of 12 months, accessible to both the hosting organization and the EC. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the cancellation of the participation.

Objectives of the project are:

  • Empower youth workers to create activities that support NEETs in finding employment and promoting an entrepreneurial mindset among YW, which will benefit the NEETs.
  • Combat youth unemployment in the local areas served by the partner organizations – The initiative will equip participating Youth Workers (YW) with the skills. Increase the inclusion of local NEETs in the communities served by the partner organizations.
  • Enable competencies needed to create targeted activities that can help unemployed young people enter the job market and achieve greater success in their job search. This includes enhancing their perception, innovation, creative thinking, consciousness, determination, strategy, leadership, risk assessment and problem-solving abilities.
