The TC began with team building activities and a treasure hunt. During 8 days the participants focused on career orientation and self-awareness, exploring their interests and values. They learned about the job market in Luxembourg and other countries, discussed networking and soft skills, and delved into the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ and civic society.

Career Orientation and Self-Assessment
During 8 days the participants focused on career orientation and self-awareness, exploring their interests and values. Participants engaged in Career Orientation tests, delving into a value-based approach to career guidance, enriching our understanding of aligning personal values with career choices. Face-to-face career orientation techniques added a dynamic element to our exploration. The importance of self-awareness in career exploration was emphasized, and participants developed action plans based on personal SWOT analysis.


Job Market, Networking and Skills Development
They learned about the job market in Luxembourg and other countries, discussed networking and soft skills, and delved into the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ and civic society. The first Training Course covered a wide array of topics: from honing soft and hard skills, engaging in the entrepreneurship game "SmartStart," exploring job markets and financial opportunities in Luxembourg.


Mentoring and Career Planning Tools
We explored an innovative Manual on Mentoring, uncovering new methodologies and strategies that can significantly enhance our mentoring practices. Day 4 was dedicated to fine-tuning our career planning strategies. We delved deep into a comprehensive Career Planning tool, equipping ourselves with practical toolkits for mentoring that promise to be invaluable in guiding and supporting the aspirations of the youth we work with.


Project Development and Design Thinking
Project Proposal Writing took center stage, guiding us in transforming ideas into actionable initiatives benefiting our youth. The first Training Course covered developing project ideas and grasping budgeting basics. Introduction to Design Thinking elements brought innovation to problem-solving. Fundraising insights provided valuable strategies to secure resources for sustaining and growing our youth projects.


Intercultural Exchange and Local Reality Exploration
They also engaged in intercultural exchange and enjoyed an evening showcasing different cultures. We started by diving into the local realities, sharing experiences and perspectives that shed light on the diverse landscapes we each operate within. Self-organized time further enabled exploration of the local reality, providing firsthand insights that enrich our understanding of our youth's daily environments.

Enhanced Career Guidance Competencies
The importance of self-awareness in career exploration was emphasized, and participants developed action plans based on personal SWOT analysis. The project aims to increase the competencies of youth workers in career guidance and youth counseling, to improve the self-awareness of young people, and facilitate the career guidance process.
